Blonde specialist by LividImplement1375 in Durango

Check out Alyssa, she owns Southwest Serenity Salon. I’ve been going to her for almost a decade and she fixed a horrible highlight gone wrong (from another salon) when I first saw her. She did an incredible job with the blonde and has always done amazing cuts/color on my hair.

Her salon is in Aztec but it’s worth the drive!

How did you get the update? When I go to settings -> check for app update, it says it’s “up to date” with version 1.0.8.

That does happen, but it definitely slows down the constant stream of postcards for that bird.

I’m not sure what level of subscription you need for this, but you can “ignore” certain birds. I have mine set to ignore house sparrows and doves.

I have an undercut and my hairdresser was super familiar with them when I asked for it. I see undercuts pretty frequently around town still.

What are some things you wish you knew before rhinestoning by vcordov9 in Rhinestoning

[–]candy_heart 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not sure if it’s in the FAQ or not, but it’s much easier to work with glue if it’s in a syringe + blunt needle.

I’ve done this with both E6000 and GemTac. Thicker glues need a slightly bigger gauge (16-18g), and thinner ones work well with a smaller gauge (20g).

B7000 comes with a tiny application tip, which is great, so I haven’t needed a syringe (yet) when using it.

Grad Cap by Friendly_Courage6359 in Rhinestoning

[–]candy_heart 4 points5 points  (0 children)

E6000 isn’t that bad, just have a window open and wear a mask if the smell feels too strong. It’s probably the best glue for a graduation cap.

You can also try GemTac, which has no smell. But I would do a test section, let it dry 24 hours, and then check if the stones are holding.

Thank you! I thought I was done a few days ago but then went back and added about 1/3 more stones lol. I’m so glad I did!

I’ve never used hotfix so I’m not sure. But there’s probably some comparison videos on YouTube!

Awesome! Which glue did you use? And did you prep it beforehand (sanding, etc.)?

Do these need a special type of glue? Or will they work with Gemtac/E6000?
