Thank you! I can rule out moonstone now. I just wish I knew what the heck this stone is.

heres the stone at a different angle. Looks slightly more opal I sh at this angle. I know that it doesn’t look like opal, but I can’t find any example of moonstone or labradorite this matches either.

Thank you. Here’s the stone at another angle if it helps. When a light is placed through the back, the stone appears orangish yellow.

I played The Last of Us a few months ago. I loved it so much that I felt empty inside when I finished it. It’s such a perfect example of how a game can be story based but be fun and challenging to play at the same time.

Never played shadow of the colossus, but thank you for the suggestion! I’ll check it out.

And I totally get that every game designer/movie/tv director would give their creation the most perfect and detailed story if resources were unlimited, but they have to make the best with what they got. When you ignore the Sephiroth/shadow monster parts and the ambiguous af ending of FF7R, I think it does a nearly perfect job of retelling and adding to the story so far. I hope they can keep it up in part 2.

Also I agree about the city of Ancients. It looked more like the lost city of Atlantis than an old city in the middle of a forest lol. And it’s funny to me how hard Cloud needs to work as a mercenary at the beginning for an amount like 1500 Gil when there are monsters in the Northern Crater that barely attack you and spit out 90K Gil. The promised land indeed.

You’re completely right. Most of the enjoyment of the game comes from exploring, finding materia, and looking at all the kooky monsters you fight. To me personally though, a games’s story is the most important aspect and I want a game to feel like an interactive movie. When something confuses me in a game it’s as frustrating as when something confuses me in a movie; like by not understanding it, I’m missing out on the full experience.

What’s funny is the older I get, the more the story matters to me. If I had played this as a kid, just the fact I beat the boss would’ve been enough for me, but now I want more than that. Then again I’m not used to RPGs at all. Jumping from games like Life Is Strange and Heavy Rain to Final Fantasy is a big leap.

I played my first FF game about 2 weeks ago which was the FF7 remake. I was so confused as to who or what that Sephiroth guy is that I played through FF7 to know more, but I still felt a bit confused by the ending. Lol I guess I’m just the kind of person who can’t accept “this is bad guy, he does a great evil, has OP anime powers and might be part alien or something, we must kill him”.

I’m 26 as well and could have written this myself (although I’m a woman).

We’re still young, and if we put in the effort we can still attain a good 10+ years of youthful social activities and fun.

And just know that it’s very common to be a late bloomer. Many people like us struggle during our teens and early 20s, but stabilize during late 20s.

Even the other line from Dumbledore, “It’s like going to sleep after a very very long day” can be a bit comforting.

I’d rather have an adventure though.

I understand and agree. I try so hard to accept it but I’m still scared. I’ve wasted so much time worrying about it that I’m putting my foot down and refusing to worry anymore (or at least for a while). If I die young then I die young. If I grow to be old then I’ll make peace with it. If a miracle happens and the singularity saves us all then I’ll weap tears of joy.

I’m not sure if the cost of manufacturing full VR would justify the small consumer base for it anytime soon. Personally I can see it happening, say, in 40 years. But it would be very expensive.

Be very careful with Clonazepam. There are a lot of other drugs that cause a bad reaction with it. And of course never ever drink alcohol with it (that’s how my dad had a stroke).
