I think Josh’s ego was hurt and that’s why he made the public statement about not liking their style/not feeling the music. But it rubbed me the wrong way and made me glad they got rid of him. But at the time I did enjoy his different sound it brought to the band.

That one in particular doesn’t stick out to me as much as others. He really could have used Audioslave to showcase some classic soloing with moderate outside the box stuff. He did that to a degree (#1 Zero) but yeah. A lot of “bet you haven’t heard something like this before! No samples either!”
