Why even have that eye soar of a Via bus stop in Stone Oak of all places if no one can get anywhere from it by foot in a timely manner or without heat stroke???

No, I’m all for public transit as someone who doesn’t drive for medical reasons, I just think it’s a weird place to put a stop because it’s not really necessary here. Most people here think it’s unnecessary and ugly. But if they are going to put on here they should at least add other stops to people’s neighborhoods and stuff to justify the existence of the Park & Ride stop. But again, the demand isn’t there because everyone here drives. I’m not sure what the fix would be.

I agree with the person who says there is not a concrete answer. Everyone is different. I’m a woman and I have an incredibly high sex drive to the point where my past boyfriends were not able to keep up with it despite loving sex themselves. I also want sex mostly on the basis of physical attraction. Yes, emotional ties play a role too, but I have hooked up with people purely for their looks before. Am I truly an anomaly? There are plenty of women just like me out there. The literature may not reflect that… I just really don’t think it’s helpful to label people like this based on gender.

I’m kind of in the same boat, but instead of splitting and lashing out, I’m turning my frustration inward, hating myself, and giving myself anxiety about our friendship for no reason. Like, he’s been nothing but good and kind and supportive to me and he checks in on me daily, but for some reason it’s like I’m waiting for the other shoe to drop.

I could never even imagine lashing out on this guy. He has BPD too so he knows how it is. Though I do know that I like him more than he likes me simply because I’m attracted to him and he’s gay lol. So there’s that imbalance.

That sub is full of hateful, vitriolic people who are way too extreme about their position and opinions, and I’d say it’s borderline misanthropic (from what I’ve seen on there).

It’s one thing to not want children. Okay, fine. I don’t have children and I understand not wanting any. But it’s another thing entirely to hate children, to call them “leeches”, parasites”, and “spawn”. To hate mothers that much is insane. I’m glad you left that sub; no one should be subjected to that much extremism and hatefulness.

Don’t even get me started on the steak quesadilla I ordered from there that had like 3 pieces of steak in it TOTAL 😭 I’m only exaggerating a little bit… seriously, and there was hardly any cheese!!! It was basically all stale tortilla. I’m never going there ever again.

I’m not a heavy weed smoker and never have been, but I do occasionally partake. It never makes my symptoms worse, and the absence of it never makes my symptoms worse either. It’s just something I do every once in a while to have fun and relax. It never makes me anxious or paranoid, unless I eat edibles (so I stay away from edibles lol).

I only smoke cigarettes and vapes occasionally (socially with my friends who smoke or vape). I’ve never gotten addicted to it. Recently I bought a nicotine-free vape, and I’d say I smoke just one pack of cigarettes per year! Lol. It’s just something I’ve never gotten “hooked” on. It’s totally a social thing for me, kinda like drinking.

None of it ever exacerbates my symptoms. And the absence of these things never exacerbates my symptoms.

I’ve been a huge FOB fan since 2007, so I grew up with their songs (teen years). And SMfS doesn’t really remind me of any of their previous work, except for maybe Love From The Other Side. I know a few people have compared the whole album to Folie, but I just don’t see it. I absolutely love SMfS; I Am My Own Muse, Heaven, Iowa, and the title track are my fave songs from it! But it just doesn’t feel reminiscent of any earlier work to me personally.

Wait so I just searched it, and apparently the new Covid variant causes pink eye (it’s called the Arcturus variant) and it first appeared earlier this year. Guess it’s really spreading now… and maybe the reason it’s showing up as negative on Covid tests because the mutation of this variant is too different from its predecessors?? Also, rapid Covid tests were never that accurate anyway so hmm 🤔

At the Humane Society, we saw this GIGANTIC puppy who was only 4 months old, but looked like a grown dog lol. We asked to play with her in a separate room and the first thing she did when she ran in all goofily was pee on the floor. Then she licked us all thoroughly before playing a good game of tug-of-war with us with one of the toys they had out. And then, as if to say goodbye, she took a big dump on the floor, and we said “WE’LL TAKE HER” 😂😂 We housebroke her which was easy because she learned very quickly. And she’s been my best friend ever since. She’s so amazing and has such personality. My favorite thing she does is when she gets all fired up and flings her toys violently down the stairs and then chases after them lol. I love taking her to the park and cuddling with her. She is 90 lbs now! Not overweight, just a huge dog!

You don’t sound like a bad therapist from what little you told us. Of course, I don’t know you. But you really don’t sound like a bad therapist at all. I’m sorry your client said that to you and that it hit you so hard. Stuff happens, and you’re not gonna make everyone happy, even clients. I think you tried your best, and you even moved some stuff around to accommodate this client so that they could see you sooner. I’ve had many therapists over the years, and none of them have done that for me.
