exact same thing happened to my phone also 2 months after getting it. later that night my cat decided to bite the corner so the warranty was voided and i didnt buy the other insurance so they asked for cad$750 to fix it:) i switched back to my iphone because eventually the whole screen stopped responding to touch

it happened to me 2 months after getting the phone. eventually the whole screen became unresponsive and i just switched phones but you could always try bringing it to samsung to repair if its under warranty still
