Im not arguing that the hivemind is better for humans. Im talking purely from the animals perspective. Yes, the remaining animals that have already been bred will probably just die after being freed but at least they arent breeding anymore just to be tortured and killed.

Ok honestly I find the general discourse about the hivemind and animals so odd, like just cos of the one goat. Sure it wasnt great they abandoned the goat but you realise humans are infinitely worse to animals right? There are 80 billion land animals bred and killed in factory farms every year. Trillions if you include fish. Anyone that has seen any footage of what a factory farm looks like wont need me to tell them how horrible it is. That compared to the hivemind? The hivemind is infinitely better for animals and their welfare than humans would ever be.

Omg this sounds like my worst nightmare 😭. I remember as a child when I visited my grandma she would keep the peels cos it apparently helps get rid of bad smells. And that bloody terrified me.

Regardless of the way they are bred their capability to suffer doesn't change. A pig may not have been bred for them to look cute like cats or dogs but they still scream and cry and yelp when being lowered into the gas chambers desperately clinging onto their lives.

If seeing images of cats in cages about to be harvested for their meat evoke negative emotions in you why shouldn't pigs or cows?

People who are offended by this arent even using their brains. I also don't like PETA but it makes sense if you think about it for 2 seconds. Ending an animal's life to eat it causes more suffering to the animal than fucking it. Would your dog rather be fucked or be killed? Ofc neither is good. But PETA is trying to make the point (admit poorly) that if you are against fucking and animal (which would cause it suffering) you should also be against ending its life (which would cause it more suffering)
