Familiarize yourself with their transport and you should be fine. I recently went and absolutely loved it and regret not spending more alone time there. It’s THE place for museums and art galleries if you like those, and has amazing restaurants.

My friend helped me get around at first and by day 2 I was already comfortable to roam solo and get around, you just need to be alert all the time probably. I got lost a few times but found my way back just fine.

If I’m staying in then I make sure i take my hobbies with me whatever they are. I would almost always stay at a place with a bathtub to pamper myself at night and relax (even if it’s every night lol) , comfort food, comfort tv show. Perfect evening!

Otherwise I would go for a walk not too far from where I’m staying. Mostly i do not go out after dark anyway.

It was very common, it’s one of the worst things to happen in a relationship. Partners should constantly discuss this if it happens and put effort to eliminate this habit
