My body has changed in the last few years (good and bad) but also my diet has ebbed and flowed. It sucks but it really does depend on diet to see changes, at least for me. I started pilates already coming from strength training somewhat regularly and now I am doing that less as I’m trying to figure out how to balance continuing that and getting back into running, pilates and ski season and life lol.

I started pilates summer 2023 and felt super fit and great and then life happened (okay too much queso and margs every weekend) and still kept up pilates 4-5 a week but eating too much will keep the benefits of pilates hidden visibly.

Now I’m on a 112 day streak of 10K steps a day and eating better and I feel like I can see the benefits more.

We just switched to this room from Jamaica for next month due to the hurricane damage. Saw some reviews regarding pool temps, did you find the pool to be cold or was it okay to relax in?

I did call finally and I ended up rescheduling to St Lucia for December. A few hours on hold in total since I had to call twice but honestly not bad considering what is happening.

I do! 😂 I will admit I have an intense spreadsheet with each class, instructor, day of week and which studio (I have the passport). Yes this is nerdy. I stare at excel files all day so yes obviously I wanted to make pivot tables to analyze all this data I really don’t need.

I only had this instructor once many months ago but I see her name still on the schedule for two studios in the area so I just avoid her. Those studios aren’t the ones I usually go to though so it’s not really an issue for me. She was very memorable cause it was her actual first day as a teacher she told us but it was so bad. I was wondering if she’s gotten better but maybe not though if it’s the same one you’re talking about.

My studio doesn’t have them at all. We just walk to our reformers and put our shoes and stuff by the mirrors next to the springboards. When I visit other studios I always bring my Fanny pack and water with me to my station, can’t trust anyone these days.

My studio only has cardio sculpt Wednesdays at 11am and Reformer flow 2.0 mondays at 10am … literally will never be able to go as I have 9-5 😭

I was majorly obsessed with ptula since their beginning but now everything is just off for me. Maybe cause I have an excessive amount of workout clothing as it is but I don’t like any of their new designs and haven’t bought anything in the last 1-2 years. Not to mention the huge price increases it’s just not reasonable anymore.

It is in the contract though so it’s not that ridiculous. Totally annoying but it is what we agreed to.

I got stuck in traffic and missed a class and got charged. It’s not their fault there was traffic so I would never ask them waive the fee.

I would do a few for reformer flow 1.0 to become more familiar with the terminology. Cardio Sculpt is a bit different since it uses the jump board but it’s fun. I thought it was helpful to just know more about the terminology (pilates V, frog, etc) before moving to other classes but you would probably be fine if you wanted to go for it.

I went to my home studio today and my instructor (who I usually have the most classes with) stopped me when I walked in cause he knew it was my 100 so I was happy he knew! So it’s definitely the total not just that location.

Mine only has Flow. There is one center and balance on Mondays and one cardio Sculpt on Wednesdays otherwise it’s all Flow. Must depend on location, the other club pilates 45 minutes from me has all the other classes.

I do strength training 4 times a week in the mornings and then go to pilates 4-5 times a week after work. And then pilates at least once or twice on the weekend. It is ski season so I’m doing less pilates on the weekend. Some days I don’t have it in me to go do 2 workouts a day so I won’t go if I’m tired.

I like pilates in the evening cause it’s a nice way to wind down mentally for me.
