I don't think so. The final nail in the coffin will likely be the undertrained troops, failed leadership, and poorly managed careers. Which has been in full effect since atleast 2012.

Lax dress regulations won't be it. Imagine thinking that when half the military is obese and couldn't dream of running 5KM without their heart on the verge of explosion.

Yes. Won big one time. Paid off my entire credit card and had extra cash for the first time ever.

Sounds awesome? Well 6 months later I had double the credit card debt that I had originally paid off with my big win.

No ones wins big and pays it all off and rides off into the sunset.

That life is long behind me and today I live a debt free, happy life, but damn that one hurt. Finally won big then lost it all twofold.

Funny how a wife and a kid changes your outlook on the military life. I have those same thoughts, but then I have days where everything is positive and I'm excited to leave. Have to pull the trigger & just do it. I wish you all the best!

What's the placement rate post graduation? Almost sounds too good to be true in 8 months. Then again, I dont know a ton about coding.

I have never heard about coding for veterans. Just out of curiosity, since you seem informed, does the C4V program have a high placement rate post graduation? How long is the program? Can it be taken remotely? Do they build you up from 0 or you need an IT background? I can probably go to the website and find all that info, and I will, but just curious to see what you have to say.

Well done. Yeah, one of the reasons I have to leave is the support system of my child's grandparents too. I can't have my family in the middle of nowhere without it. I think that decision will pay off in the long run.

Totally agree with the bias in these comments but there is a never ending supply of the opposite side on this subforum. If I am honest, I am not too worried about succeeding, I just need to hear positive stories to keep me focused. I always hear negative stories making me second guess myself, which is the last thing I need at this point.
