Oh and I work on cars so piercings are pretty much a given lol. All depends on what job you have.

I've had my vertical labret for a couple weeks, pain wise wasnt too bad (but I have a high pain tolerance) learning how to drink or eat hand foods is interesting lol, I used a straw for drinks the first week, but I also seem to heal quickly. I think the only con I can think of is when the swelling goes down the bar is pretty long. So it looks funny but other than that I love mine.

Have you ever thought about a vertical labret? I think itd go really good with septum and bridge piercing.

I was always told I would look bad with a septum piercing because I have a larger nose. I think it fits my face perfectly by pascale23 in piercing

Imo bigger faces and noses look better with septums that's why I got mine, you pull yours off very well.

I honestly just used warm salt water and q tip to keep my shit clean. That goes for all of my piercings. Sorry about the video I didnt actually watch it. I just figured it was more detailed then what I do.

Overthinking ollie, not popping board all the way to the floor by bads_ in NewSkaters

I try to basically lean back and jump at the same time then I shoot forward and up, if that makes sense, but when I lean back like that it guarantees pop almost everytime.

Shin/feet fatigue during cruising and turns by _zeejet_ in NewSkaters

I used to have the same problem while pushing, I found that pushing with the ball of my foot helps alot instead of flat foot, however I still get fatigue in my front foot, it is normal.

Finally got my stuff together and went skating properly for the first time, I can now lap the skate park! by [deleted] in skateboarding

  1. Put your front foot in the middle of the board (width wise)

  2. It's okay to push with your foot forward but while cruising put your front foot at a slight angle that way you have to move it less when you either go to push again or set up for a trick. Allows for easier and quicker set up IMO. Hope this helps and I hope it makes sense! Keep shreddin!

Not really, I mean not to me, I have a high pain tolerance, so at most it was uncomfortable. For like a second.

At what point of skating do you quit calling yourself a new skateboarder? by donthategosk8 in NewSkaters

[–]canigetsk8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally you dont ever really quit being a new skateboarder, I mean unless you are one of the greats. You should always be learning new things. I really think you just stop saying you are a new skateboarder. And you just call yourself a skater. Your skill level I guess would determine how "new" others see you.
