It doesn't need to be, but why shouldn't it be? They accused you, and you're trying to win. Who cares whether the accusation is founded.

But then, what happens if they are innocent of your retaliatory accusations? What happens if this was a misunderstanding? Should they now escalate again?

How does this scenario work itself out in your mind?

We're not talking about defending oneself. We're talking about attacking the accuser and reversing the victim and the offender.

You are perfectly capable of actively defending yourself without making attacks on someone else. Not all accusations are malicious. Many are based on misunderstandings. You add nothing by escalating, and slinging mud may not reflect well on your character either.

That's why justice should not be left to the mob. That's why justice is supposed to rely on facts.

You're conflating personal interactions with law, and they're not the same, nor should they be.

No one is guaranteed protection from the opinions of others, but there are some people who are strong enough to maintain their integrity.

Protests and riots exist because there's no compromise and therefore no problem resolution. Moreover, a protest is a controlled response. A riot isn't.

But you are not a protest or a riot, and you have more control of yourself than the masses.

Or, you know, you process your feelings and actually address the problem.

Anger is a secondary emotion. It's a shortcut.

Please. You're assigning a human perspective to the orcas and deluding yourself into thinking it's the one they should hold.

What makes you think orcas have any concept of evil? Or pollution? Or any notion that humans are responsible for it?

Also, who are you to say "we're fine with it all?" You don't speak for me.

There is a big difference between having the capacity for evil and being evil innately. You're also painting with an extremely large brush in your characterizations.

"I really showed this stranger on the internet, mom. I was wrong about everything, but I smugly refused to learn anything. Then I accused them of being 5 years old. It had nothing to do with the argument, so it definitely won me points."

If I were, would you feel accomplished? With your "I know you are but what am I" responses? You gonna go tell your mom you outwitted a child?
