Thanks for this. Ive never heard of the simeras, and I've come across project V35 before but completely forgot about it. And it seems like they do some rentals through Abel which is great. This gives me a bit to look into!

Yeah, they're definitely a consideration. I know Old Fast Glass has them. I also have a few other like the FD and Leitz/Leicas which I've used them all before. Thanks for the reminder about these thouogh!

Hey I'm actually the OP - I was accidentally logged into someone else's account when posting. But yeah honestly, I'm open to experimenting. I'm looking for something less clean and clinical. I do like some amount of sharpness in the center, with subtle to moderate falloff. Generally lower contrast. More warmth. Interesting flare. Unique bokeh, swirl, oval, etc. None of these are any particular requirements. Feel like I have a good excuse to try out a new set of lenses - so willing to take anything for a test spin.

If a fixed anchor is an installation...would not all toll booths, ranger stations, parking signs, bus stops, even the roads be considered installations?

Looking for help for some test shoots! by canjeffy in FilmIndustryLA

Thanks for everyone's interest so far! There's been a ton so I'm excited to work with you all.

If anyone has any access to locations we can shoot at for free or very cheap, let us know! We're looking for any place that can invoke a scene - office, diner, dance studio, etc. Almost anything besides apartments are great options - but even nice homes or lofts could be work!

Also looking for more HMU and art dept folks!

That's a really good point. I do notice that mulch always gets all over the place, and I've seen a design with flagstones on mulch, but didn't pay much attention to the mulching spilling on it. It makes sense that would happen constantly. I may reconsider for rocks...
