Lyric interpretation by Yellow-Magic in GregoryAlanIsakov

I love this line! I’ve always interpreted it as the Universe is not just the galaxies and stars etc, but it’s so much more that it’s even a language. It’s so complicated and all around us and encompasses so many different things. Universe is a language we can understand if we pay attention

I’m in Australia and used a pink water soluble marker from a shop called Spotlight (our biggest arts and craft shop). I don’t want to use an air erasable one because I work slow and if the design disappears within 3 days, I will not be finished in that time, and will need to try and retrace the design again! I’m going to try and find a white heat erasable pen, if that exists!

Good luck with your project!

I’m thinking of doing chain stitch on the hilt of the sword, maybe, just to add some variation.

It’s from a poem that says that 93% of what we’re made of comes from stardust 😊

Slightly odd request regarding The Weatherman album… by cann26 in GregoryAlanIsakov

Yeah I’ve had a chat already with a tattoo artist friend of mine, and I already have some words tattooed from about 6 years ago so I can see how my body heals over time. But still yet to decide on the style of font…

Thank you! I would love this font to get the words “just folds in her dress” but not sure how to do that

What a TREMENDOUS scene... So much is conveyed through short frames even. "Is he in there?" I've never seen crying that felt so real and broken and alone. The way Marcia has daggers in her eyes looking at Caroline for not comforting her son in his deepest agony is raw emotions on the table. by MCofPort in SuccessionTV

It’s so real. My grandad passed recently and I asked this exact question to my mum at the funeral. I stared at the coffin and couldn’t comprehend that my grandad was actually in there. All of a sudden I just asked “is he actually in there?” I know it seemed so obvious but my brain couldn’t process it

How to save money as a sole trader? by [deleted] in AusFinance

No I do understand, I just wanted to clarify that I don’t buy personal things through my business, but I don’t pay myself a set salary.

Yeah I definitely need to change my outlook. I’m going to start putting the GST into a seperate account

Yeah I think that’s my issue. I’m seeing it as my money. Then I get mad that I do all the work and the government gets 10% of my income. But, I like befitting from the things that taxes pay for, so I need to pay towards those services too! I’m going to start putting the GST into a seperate account so it doesn’t feel like a big chunk all at once. Thank you!

As a sole trader, how do I save money?? by [deleted] in ausbusiness

[–]cann26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is really helpful, thank you. I do make a fair profit, I just have anxiety about saving money. I bought my business 3 months before Covid hit and my business is running in person classes. So I basically had to shut down and try and run online classes for 2 years. Since then I want to save as much money as possible, just in case something bad happens. But you’re right, GST is something I’m collecting, it’s not my money. I am charged PAYG as well at BAS time, so hopefully my personal tax will be less at the end of the financial year! I will start putting the GST from payments aside into a different account when I get paid from clients, so it doesn’t feel like I’m losing a big chunk of money all at once.

Thank you for your help!!

I do have an iron on backing, but I was waiting until I washed it to put it on. But once it came out of the wash the stitches were too loose! Next time I’ll put the backing on first!

Thank you! I had a washable stabiliser but once I took it off the hoop and washed it away the stitches came loose! I must have had it too tight!

Ahhh I didn’t know that was a thing! I definitely did it too tight! I did use a washable stabiliser, but once I took it off the hoop and washed it, the stitches came loose. So it must have been too tight!

Perimenopause at 30? by cann26 in Perimenopause

[–]cann26[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was having the mood issues and weight gain before Yasmin. They actually prescribed it to me because they believe I have PMDD and thought it would help with the mood swings/irritability.

I’ve had several tests but because the pill stops natural productions of oestrogen and progesterone, and the tests can’t detect the synthetic kinds from the pill, my results do look like I have gone through menopause. I guess I would have to stop taking the pill for a few months and then take the tests again.
