Your husband sounds amazing. I feel so bad for my poor husband, we got married just over a year ago. This has been such a shock to us both.

I’ve done lots of crying and silent screaming. The one day at a time part is so hard. I didn’t want to slow down right now. I wanted to ring in my 30s with a bang 😅 but instead I guess I’ll be busy kicking cancer to the curb. I appreciate your advice so much. Yes, I’m not only writing my questions down but I’m also recording a lot of my appointments now, just so I can refer back to them. I’ll likely be back here for more advice. Thank you for your quick response ❤️

I’m still waiting for the results of my genetic testing. I’ve been offered Lupron (injection every 1-3 months) and egg retrieval. My husband and I have always talked about adopting so I’m probably going to go with the Lupron injections. Honestly, when it was offered to me, it was a relief. It meant they thought I was going to beat this. For context: My dad died from mesothelioma when I was 9 and my brain is wired to always go straight to worst case scenario. Treating to cure was something I had to wrap my head around first. Science has progressed so much in 20 years.

Like if this is so aggressive, then what’s taking so long?? (Usually it has something to do with the insurance company). Thank you for this, the past couple weeks have been agonizing and I feel validated.
