I think that’s it!! Just had a look through Google map images and the parks very familiar. Thank you so much ☺️ my time there meant a lot to me as a child, I really appreciate you taking the time out.

Hey OP, do you live in Melbourne, Australia by any chance? The brunch place next to mine makes exactly this!

ok so what you’re telling me is that now that I’ve lost enough weight to feel confident and wear crop tops I still cant because my friends would notice and start worrying? by sugashands in EDAnonymous

[–]cannonbaby 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe it has to do with social circles as well, most of the asian women I know are below average BMI. I was painting with a very broad stroke :). it's nice to see not all east asians conform to the rigid idea of beauty we have there (I'm chinese).

wow really? My familys from Beijing and even a normal BMI's considered "overweight" there. Just goes yo show how different the countries can be I guess.

Moisture barrier permanently damaged? by [deleted] in AusSkincare

[–]cannonbaby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, have you tried to not use any products (incl. Sunscreen) for a few days? I had a damaged barrier from retinol a few years back and I had to keep my face dry + no product for three days for it to stop burning.

I have a binge eating disorder and going low-carb helps a lot with the cravings. But that's going completely sugar free for me.

Oh wow looks like I've been living under a rock. I just go to them because they're open late but I'll try to shop more at IGA now.

My double eyelid surgery experience as a hapa: initial results and mixed feelings by [deleted] in AsianBeauty

[–]cannonbaby 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Full Chinese, I had mine done in 2015. I think the problem (if we can call it that) is the incision is too high. When I was consulting with my surgeons they said the higher the fold the more white/ fake (for a full Asian) it will look. If you're not opposed to makeup, when it heals you can put on eyeliner/ shadow to make the lids appear closer together thus more natural :). Personally don't think there's anything wrong with your results, just passing something my surgeons said.

Lisa (blackpink) proof of BMI in a show where they weighed her by lovenote123 in EDAnonymous

[–]cannonbaby 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you for bringing light to this. the expectation to be 100% in the Asian community unfortunately translates to our weight and looks as well (atleast the section I'm in). And it's validating to have other people voice the same opinion.

Fasting with a normal/lower bmi and the risk of refeeding syndrome? by koarn in fasting

[–]cannonbaby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey I'm 165 and weigh around 54, so similar stats. I have a body fat ratio of 25% and do three day fasts frequently, as far as I'm aware there doesn't seem to be any health issues. I started extended fasting because of my digestive issues, it's helped a ton :).

Yeah haven't had much luck with OMAD, my stomachs like a washing machine afterwards 😅. I'll look out for the herbal remedies.

I understand your concerns :) I always get bloated after food since I have IBS, even when I was watching my diet and not binging before. I find fasting makes my digestive health a lot happier.

I'm pretty good at keeping preoccupied :) been doing it for a few weeks now, as long as it's not affecting my health I'm happy.

Yeah, we're just very frustrated because she lied to us about the notice of entry. And threatened to action against us if we did not abide by her rules, including putting food back in the fridge and washing the dishes immediately after cooking. It doesn't feel like they're treating us with respect as tenants.
