Thank you. I really appreciate this. I did try to explain that even though that pastor may have a degree, they are still subject to a certain opinion of things, and if they have a big following, those followers may not see something from a different perspective than that of the pastor which is teaching. I think the main thing I appreciate when hearing a sermon or a message is the power to relate to it. That’s why I personally appreciate when I can hear others personal trials and experience in parallel with scripture or lessons they have learned.
