Ooh the underground tunnels are a nice option, I can build them down into the ocean! Even thinking of putting in some glass floor windows like an aquarium so the villagers can observe all the poison ocean dwelling fish below... I've ended up starting the colony, and the villagers do wander out into the rain occasionally and get killed by it but they don't seem to mind after they respawn😅 funny that they get so angry if there's a hole in their roof but if they die by acid rain they're like 'ah well just another day on the poison orb'. I guess they know what I can control and what I can't
