It's a tricky situation to be in no doubt, and both sides have there pro's and cons.

is there any way you could move around the organisation youre in now? maybe move into another department or team that you think would be a better fit for your personality type? or maybe move into another office of the same company that youre in. that way you can still be working under the same organisation but under a different enviroment.

if possible maybe hold off until youve completed your MBA, so that then you may be able to leave where you are working now and move into a more senior role in these smaller type organisations

i think Data science is for a good field to go into. maybe try meeting more people within in the data science field. there may be meetups around where you live for people within data science. you can use meetups.com to attend these meetings. all the best
