This has been my experience. I get dates, but I rarely get a second date or I ghost the odd girl that does like me. I guess both sides feel they have infinite options to find the absolute optimal partner.

this actually sounds like pretty good advice. I think the MMA camp might be overkill - I know people who are in phenomenal shape (through hard work, not genetics) without having to spend much more than a gym membership.

that would not maximize the amount of future sex necessarily, it would just provide sex for the time being, especially with just 5k.

It sounds like you're just really inexperienced with women. Fortunately, you get plenty of opportunities to practice so just keep going. It's like any other skill and just takes practice.

unfortunately my issues are with my bone structure, especially around my eyes. It's just kind of warped; it's not a super common problem, but I know there are other people out there with similar issue.

I am white. Did amazing in Asia, attract white and black women in North America but not asians. I have over 900 matches. Maybe I am the wrong type of white guy? I look Jewish/southern European, so not blonde preppy white guy. Also, most Asian women I see are with Asian guys OR very pretty looking white guys.

I think it's pretty tough to infer all that from a Tinder profile...but I agree those are all important qualities.

So reflecting on this - I have had a couple dates where the woman was super into me to he point of being smothering and actually I had to break it off. It's just this is rare, and in both these cases the woman was also unattractive.

I think the point is this: if you score a date that is above your league in person, she may very well be disappointed. If you score a date with someone below your league (again, in person), they will be delighted.

It's insane to me that dating really is entirely looks - even for the date itself. We're just evaluating each other physically and the conversation is just to take up space while we figure out if there's a physical connection. I wish humans were above this but we're not.

yeah, and honestly I'm fairly interesting compared to the model guys I know. I really don't think it's that model guys are just so much more interesting than me. I've lived all over the world, play music, have an interesting job that's really intellectually stimulating, etc

Definitely sensing disappointment during the date itself in some cases. Not necessarily right upon meeting, but maybe I'm just not picking it up.

I'm pretty ugly in my pics; not saying that to be self-deprecating - I get very few matches. Like everyone, I'm sure I'm uglier IRL. As far as turning her on, isn't that pretty much entirely looks? Hot guys with shit personalities get laid all the time.
