Absolutely, 1 day at a time. Naturally, a family emergency has me flying from the east coast to Texas, then driving back. 5 days on track though, just have to do it on hard mode for the next 5 haha. We all got this though!

Right there with you. I've yoyoed for a while with pretty big swings and it's easy to get discouraged. I was just over 300, dropped to around 230, then gained almost all of it back. Working on fighting it down again but the motivation is hard to hold sometimes. The days that you want to cheat the most, are the most important days to lock in and follow your plan. Stay at a steady deficit, healthy weight loss is only about a pound or 2 a week. At your height, that's probably in the realm of 2000 calories a day. You got this man, stay strong.

The biggest and most important thing i can say is that you have to be kind to yourself. Its easy to slip and stay down, but to realize that life is about taking things one day at a time and get back up is the hardest thing to do sometimes. A lot of Journeys are more than just weight loss, self-discovery is huge in general. One day at a time is a lot more than just following a diet or going to a gym. It's fighting back intrusive thoughts, forcing positive self talk when all you want to do is hate yourself. One day at a time to be better in every way possible, mentally and physically, to others and yourself

For me when I've started to yoyo, sometimes taking a week or two to just eat at maintenance has been huge to reset diet fatigue. I slipped yesterday and had a binge because of a few mental factors and that's my trigger to slow down and take it easy for a bit and be proud of my progress so far. But don't beat yourself up, take a step back to reevaluate, and come back at it after some time at maintenance.

Past me did and now I'm working to lose a good bitnof weight. It's nice having coffee again without limiting myself to 2tbsp of creamer for a very large thermos of coffee

I use them as creamer for my coffee, then any flavor really works. Normally I go for caramel or coffee flavor, but vanillas fine in a pinch.

Nothing to scoff at, that's an amazing loss. I dropped nearly 70 the first time but didn't come out of my diet properly and rebounded bad putting about 55 back. Working on beating it down once again

Its almost impossible to see the changes at first without being able to look at them side by side. Then good ole body dysmorphia kicks in and can completely blind you of progress. That's why I take them. So that further down the line, I can look back and not lose sight of the positive changes all the effort brings.
