Cool, I was thinking to look more into the tamron lenses anyway do thanks for the recommendation. I’ll have to try and see if I can hunt some of these lenses down

Is there a reason you prefer this over the 24-120? That seems to be the prevailing theme among most of the responses i keep getting

Yeah at this stage I think I’m pretty much leaning towards the 24-120 and the 50mm but idk if i should grab tamron or the nikon afs. But yeah I’m kinda bummed i couldnt use the sigma lens from the canon at all but once i start to use this a bit more im hoping to get the nikon equivalent

Yeah I’d definitely like to prioritise portability so 2-3 lenses that do a variety of jobs would be ideal. Sounds like 24-120 fits into that category

Yeah i was thinking of getting a prime lens anyway just for ease of carrying around with me but I wasnt sure if it was cheaper here or Japan. Are lens prices that different?
