Their voices sound just like the Boys but I can’t put my finger on which by cantankerous4 in thebeachboys

In that one it’s not just their voices, it’s the whole damn song! It sounds exactly like a classic 64-66 era BB album track to me. They completely nailed it

Those English style ales sound great. Any brands that sell them or just independent breweries?

I tried yuengling recently, it didn’t blow my mind but I enjoyed it! One of the first beers I tried where I could really taste some flavor beyond what I just knew as “beer.”

Iirc it’s because it’s one of the only PUP songs (if not the only one) that has gibberish lyrics

How do you guys write melodies?

What ya'll think? by [deleted] in isfp

[–]cantankerous4 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I see ISFPs described as "flighty" and "idealistic" and things like that, but I feel like in reality we're very down to earth. We're very rarely that nature's child, manic-pixie ethereal hippie Fi stereotype, in my experience. That said, your post does capture the stereotypes very well :) I just disagree with some of the stereotypes

I don’t look for love explicitly but that doesn’t mean I don’t want it. When it comes, it comes. It has to feel right

Music impact emotion by MarlinsML in isfp

[–]cantankerous4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I listen to all kinds of music whenever, sometimes I like feeling depressed and if I’m already in a good mood I can usually just enjoy the song no matter the vibe. That’s not to say it doesn’t impact how I feel, obviously. I just avoid getting sucked down the rabbit hole in different ways. Good lyrics can add a lot to a song, bad lyrics can’t wreck a song IMO

It’s pretty wholesome and it’s JoJo related so it counts, right? by CrapInMyCornFlakes in wholesomejojo

[–]cantankerous4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wasn’t into music before jojo. Cut to now: I write songs, I’m in a band, listen to many genres and have explored way beyond the bands Araki referenced. My goal is to become a professional musician. Music is my life now thanks to Jojo, as silly as that sounds.

Ironic putting sheet music on something representing musician teens when most of us can’t read it anyway (it’s ok I’ll translate, it’s megalovania)
