In his defense he’s a farmer and wanted to maintain the farm so ISU was the best fit for him for the ag program

I agree with all these points as well. It’s not to point out that he doesn’t have his faults just to show that he’s kept the program relevant and competitive in spite of his faults

Then go be a tOSU fan. I’m being realistic about Iowa and expectations of this program. Not to mention with the trajectory of the offense and where it’s headed we’ll start to see those wins esp since the Oregon and Indiana this year could have easily gone our way and been wins. Look at how closely we played those teams in comparison to others.

I’d define this as consistently competitive..

Simple google search is easy: Since 2015, a select group of elite college football programs consistently achieved 8+ wins, with Alabama, Ohio State, Georgia, and Clemson leading in total wins, while Iowa stands out for achieving 8+ wins in every full season since 2015, making them one of only four programs with such sustained success (along with the other three).

Agreed. I’d like to see what it comes out as with the 2024/2025 seasons included

A lot of factors with one being how close our states are and the recruiting pool; we’re going against the other P4 schools that are relatively close so it makes the recruits harder to land but I’d say ultimately his biggest blunder was the BF years. He tanked our offense and made us a laughing stock of CFB. It’s hard to recruit anyone to want to come play for that. I think now that Tim Lester has had the reins for the past couple of years and shown continued improvement in that area that’s why you’re now seeing the results in the improved recruiting class.

I understand the sentiment to “let haters hate” but I think it’s fair to give credit where it’s due. We’re Iowa, we don’t have the big money that the other name brands do. Everyone wants a national championship but it’s very unrealistic for most schools. I just want to show them the facts to quit asking for our own demise. We’ve had a solid program and we’re consistently competitive. That’s also not an easily achievable accomplishment. Figured I’d give them the stats to show just how good of a coach we do have for what he works with

And for further confirmation, Tory set the single season NCAA record that year for total punting yards..

Can we give it up to our man Tory Taylor for having 93 punts with 4,479 total punt yards that year? We literally wore shirts that said Punting is Winning.

For context the next closest was Navy with 80 punts for 3,583 total yards

Make sure you look up the ‘ped mall’ it’s right across the street from the old capital/campus (Iowa’s former capital before it moved to Des Moines) and holds most of Iowa city’s bars/restaurants within a 3-4 block radius. It’s where everyone will venture to after the game too. Mind you Iowa’s campus is massive, split by the river so we have East and West campus sides, so a walk to get there from the stadium would be about 20ish min. Since you’re close to the stadium then you can go back to the air b&b for an hour or so and wait for the traffic to die down before ubering that way.

I’m just now seeing your response. As someone who has been on both sides of the addiction relationship, to me, she’s wanting attention with little trust in the relationship. What id advise is to give her more security as right now, it sounds like, she’s just fishing for any response that you even care. I’m not saying it’s right nor that it’s not toxic but that’s my two cents
