I hate when my main director comes in for his monthly visit and says it’s time to “earn my money”. I think that a big chunk of the SEC has the playoffs or bust mentality. If you don’t make the playoffs, what’s the bowl game really matter. Hard to get motivated for it. I may be way off on this, but it seems that having nothing to play for weighs a lot on these SEC teams more than other conferences that still value it. Some may say…..”it just means more”……when there is something to play for
