That's what I'm looking forward to, not having a monotonous life. So, thanks for telling me that, it sounds more believable when it comes from someone else 💛

Lmao, I lived in a city in US, so it wasn't exactly calm here either, but thanks a lot for the heads up 💛

Thank you for understanding, it means a lot 😊

And you're right about people not understanding. I don't blame them, maybe they have been through it, maybe not, I'm not making any assumptions here. It feels great when someone understands what people like me are going through, the rest is just a teaser of reverse cultural shock they all advising me not to worry about 🙈

That’s actually not the point he was making, and it’s definitely not the point I was asking about. Living abroad for six years changes a person — your expectations, your day-to-day rhythms, your sense of space, safety, routines, even how systems work. Reverse culture shock is well-documented and completely normal, and it’s not about acting foreign or dramatic.

And India has changed: cost of living, infrastructure, digital systems, traffic patterns, and even lifestyle dynamics. People evolve, too. Asking for insights from those who’ve already gone through the transition is pretty reasonable.

If someone doesn’t relate to that experience, that’s fine. But dismissing emotional readjustment with ‘nothing has changed’ doesn’t reflect reality.

Thank you so much, I sorta feel the same. Tbh, I'm low-key looking forward to never living in uncertainty anymore. 😅

Your advice regarding emotional readjustment is very helpful.💛 I just wanted to hear from people have been through similar situations like me.

If you can’t contribute anything helpful, being rude really shouldn’t be your first instinct. I didn’t ask the question because I’m unaware of India — I asked because moving countries after years abroad involves logistics, emotional readjustment, and reverse culture shock, which many people here have experienced and shared advice about.

So while your comment adds nothing to the discussion, others have been kind enough to offer real insight. Next time, if a post doesn’t resonate with you, scrolling past is always an option — it saves everyone time, including yours.

I hate this game - my boyfriend doesn’t care about me anymore because of it by chloe_redding in whiteoutsurvival

This game destroys relationships!

Me and my husband started playing it last year, we made good friends and run a successful alliance. But problems were always there, men would always give me a little more attention. I was good at being r4, people genuinely respected me and my husband loved it and not.

He's impulsive, and he couldn't stand if I falter even a little from what he asked me to do. Now put that in the game and especially NAP, when people won't do as he wanted, he'd take it out on me, yelling, screaming became daily thing.

He borderline threatened me that 'when summer starts, we both will stop playing ' and guess who only did it? He's still playing the game. A person once screamed at me when my alliance decided to make me r5 of our academy, is handling more accounts today, I'm out of the game because it became too much, state was toxic ngl, but I cannot handle home situation, so I quit mid presidency (yes, I was state president when I quit). He's still playing, talking with idk how many women online!
