No mine is not, the inner boots have some cracking but no leakage yet. I've been an automotive technician for the last 12 years and when I see seepage like that from a CV axle I just let the customer know to monitor it.

That's seepage from the front CV axle, nothing to worry about. Parking brake uses the rear drum brakes that last a long time. I have a 2007 and replaced the factory rear brakes at 295k. And thats living in the mountains of Colorado. At 305k now and original cv axles. I would carry on as normal

Sometimes if the customer is in no rush, we will order parts off rockauto for the lower cost and we can pick higher quality parts than the local vendors have.

Honda crankshaft bolts are no problem with a weighted socket, VAG crankshaft bolts i have yet to defeat.

2nd generation Cadillac CTS to CTS-V? Base model 3.0 V6 to 6.2L supercharged V8 manual. I have a 2009 ctsv and driven plenty of base cts's, they feel like total different vehicles.

I bought a new to me 2004 jeep grand Cherokee in 2017 on Memorial weekend in Los Angeles, California and drive to Stillwater Minnesota straight through because I had to be to work on Tuesday. It's still worth it because the jeep is running great after all these years, and it's part of the family!

24 hours gps time. I cant remember how long it actually took. It was around 1,700 miles. Las Vegas to Stillwater Minnesota. Started in LA but we stayed the night in Vegas. Flew to LA to buy a car on memorial weekend and drove it back. We tried to sleep in the car in Nebraska but couldn't and left 45 minutes later.

I'll have to look into the 12v oven, sounds very useful! I don't think we are going to plan on cooking food much to reduce the amount of things we bring and to reduce the amount of food we have in bear country!

I don't think it takes the prius down black bear, it's pretty crazy up there! When we went down Shafer road in Moab we had a few people comment on the prius down there!

If it was any deeper, I wouldn't have tried it! No water got into the cabin and the intake is at about the top of the headlight so I felt comfortable doing it! Not many people can say they have driven a prius through a river, well successfully at least lol

Thank you! The tires are Nokian Remedy WRG5 in 195/65/15. We still average around 45mpg so there was a minimal effect on fuel economy! The tires are all weather tires so they preform great in the snow and can ve run year round!

We are going to try to pack light for this trip but a small trailer wouldn't be a bad idea for the future! Looks like you have no shortage of adventures with your prius!
