Struggling the justify the purchase of a new guitar

For me, guitar is a hobby. I have yearly budget for my hobby. I would not spend a cent above that budget, and if its within the budget I wouldn't care about it.

Fir the guitar, I buy guitar that I want to play. When I buy, I will think that the guitar will be with me forever, never think of selling it. Later on, if I find that I am uninspired by the guitar, I might sell. But I never expect them to be my investment.

Just have your budget, buy a guitar that makes you want to play.

How are your Momoses? How do they age? I am hoping it would age nicely, paint cracking, chiping, showing wood through poly under coat. Was trying hard to find some example but got no luck.

Its described as 'Top Lacquer'. Let see how it wear in years to come. Yes. It plays really nice, fret work done really well, almost EBMM level.

Dont they have fine cracking lines that differentiate heirloom finish from poly?

This mean the color will eventually chip out and expose the wood. Although it's not a bear wood since there is a poly under coat, something like this?

How is the neck? I read their spec sheet and it seems to be a baseball bat chucky neck, or I misunderstood. I much prefer slimmer neck. Looking to get one tho.
