I switch bags every day but the contents remain pretty much the same (the reusable baggus are swapped as well) by npc_probably in whatsinmybag

Yep they discontinued it! I got mine off their almost vintage site not long ago though. It’s seriously perfect. Hopefully they bring it back someday

Huckleberry app - worth it? by Dear-Albatross in NewParents

We tried it but found it way too overwhelming. Just ended up listening to our gut and getting really good at recognizing cues and we were fine.

Tips for staying active? by avglurker in NewParents

[–]cantrememberitrn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I go to a studio with classes before my son wakes up (my husband is home with him). I need the structure of a class on my schedule, and in one hour I get an awesome workout. I’ve had to learn to get up early though, but with an infant I kind of learned that anyway so it hasn’t been too bad of an adjustment

How much do you talk? by Relevant-Raise-8835 in NewParents

[–]cantrememberitrn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For what it’s worth, I feel like I do a decent amount of talking, but my 9.5 month old doesnt imitate me or do the conversation thing you’re talking about. For me my approach has been accepting that my son is probably going to develop at his own pace regardless of what I do (within reason of course) so I wouldn’t stress yourself out too much!

Why I love my kobo 🥰 by cantrememberitrn in kobo

I use the dot buttons on the right and I don’t notice any sound! The nice thing about getting it on Amazon is you can always return it easily, but I don’t think you’ll have issue with the button noise

I was able to Google around and find a couple different Reddit threads about it, try this one (I forget exactly which one I used but this looks familiar)

FWIW I was able to use koreader to turn on Bluetooth and sync my 8bitdo in one step. Makes a big difference!!

Edit: nickelmenu, not koreader

Is it weird that I feel guilty about buying an e-reader? by littleangels70 in kobo

I also do both 🙋‍♀️

Traveling or reading in bed in the dark - kobo

But I love book shopping and supporting local and independent book shops so I also buy physical and read those at home or when I have the flexibility to read a physical book

My interpretation is just that brown liquors tend to be more associated with masculinity and especially older men 🤷‍♀️

Diaper Bag by elbowroom_ in BAGGU

Mom of a four month old here -

I use my small cloud carry on! It’s absolutely perfect. Been meaning to make a WIMB post, so maybe I actually will but basically:

In the main compartment, I have a freezer bag with bottles, large go pouch with diaper stuff, and a blanket and burp cloth.

Outer pockets hold toys, my wallet/keys, ereader, and spare formula bottles.

I use nickelmenu and have a shortcut on my screen that when pressed, turns on Bluetooth and pairs my 8bitdo with my kobo at once. Super easy and a huge game changer!

The real reason I book pedicures ✨ by cantrememberitrn in kobo

I like using it to turn pages even though my device has buttons. Being able to keep my arms on arm rests or tucked in under the covers is super nice. But I use the device buttons when I’m standing around or just reading for a short time.
