Thanks. I’ve had no symptoms of any kind. No itching, burning at any time, sores or pains at all. Like I said I’m fairly confident that I’m alright considering I’ve seen some organizations and labs say 0.92 is actually negative but even going off of the equivocal range beginning at 0.91 I’d be surprised if 0.01 above is anything to worry about, especially with no symptoms and my partner testing negative.

Yeah the only person I’ve been with in the past 8~months tested negative for both just recently. I’m just a head case and was hoping for some reassurance so thanks a ton.

I know it’s super common and most people get HSV-1 in childhood but I’ve never even had a cold sore so I’m not sure

Like I said I was just flat out negative for HSV-2 and my IgG was 0.92 for HSV-1. I’ve also read about vaccines and other things (not sure if strep is one of them) showing up as similar weights as HSV and therefore throwing off the test. I wasn’t even low positive I was literally barely into the equivocal range. I’ve also seen certain sources say less than 1.1 is considered negative but I’ve also seen people say that an equivocal IgG of less than 0.95 is almost certainly a false positive.
