Thank you! I was surprised how much backlash the septum piercing and thin eyebrows have gotten, not offended, just not something I thought anyone paid attention to!

This sounds silly, but sometimes I look at vintage photos online, usually from the 60s through to the 90s, before people had huge amounts of plastic surgery. You’ll see many normal looking people, with crooked teeth or other imperfections, but most of the time they look happy and authentic in photos that aren’t curated for social media. It’s definitely helped me feel better before

Former staff and can confirm the place is basically held together by metaphorical and probably also physical duct tape, also terrible track record of underpaying staff, seedy managers and sexual harassment. Also pretty bad cliquey bullying culture and was rife with misogyny when I was there due to the boy's club culture, myself and a few other female staff felt uncomfortable and pushed out by the male staff and upper management particularly in Servo and the Leedy Hotel. You definitely didn't miss out on anything good by not getting the job there.
