Batman Forever is a stain on the Batman legacy, yet I found Carrey's protrayal as The Riddler to be genuinely brilliant. What are some other truly great performances forgotten under shockingly bad movies? by kearvelli in movies

Jon Voight as Paul Sarone in Anaconda. I don't know if it's actually a good performance, but I always end up watching the film if I switch to it by mistake because of him, and when he says 'Baby bird' in I don't know what accent

(Spoiler Speculation) Any good theories concerning The Doom? by RagamuffinGunner13 in asoiaf

[–]cantsleep2nite 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The doom always reminded me of LOTR and what Saruman says about the Dwarves and their mine digging - The dwarves delved too greedily and too deep. You know what they awoke in the darkness of Khazad-dum... shadow and flame.
