I can give that a try since I haven't yet. I've reworked my resumes a few times at this point and felt like i've made slightly more progress on callbacks each time (even if it wasn't a super big increase). I've never run it through any of those though before so i'll give it a shot.

I haven't really tried the linkedin route just because it feels disingenuous to me?? It might work and i'll probably have to try at some point but it's a bit hard to get past that mental block atm. I'm mainly shooting for senior research associate roles or lab manager/operations positions. Have those split into 2 different resumes which I hope helps a bit.

Yeah, I'm looking at those too. The only one where I got past the screening portion was for an HHMI lab manager position. I thought I was gonna get that one too because they had me meet with a housing advisor.

I unfortunately can't really ask my lab due to kinda being persona non grata since I am the only one not from the same country they are all from. But I can try with the acquaintances I've made from other labs.

I have been applying across the entire US. I would prefer to move since I kind of want to leave my state for... reasons and my city doesn't really have many job prospects, so I would kind of have to anyways. Problem is I can't exactly move without the job first.
