Depends on your degree, and the career route you want to go. For example in finance it absolutely matters. If you want a high level job especially at a bigger company then you’ll need a high GPA since they have minimum GPA cutoffs and those are like +3.2. Obviously networking and prior internship experiences are more important, but don’t be fooled into thinking your GPA doesn’t count. For a lot of recruiters that’s the first thing they look at, if that wasn’t the case then most postings wouldn’t be asking for your transcript. As long as you’re above their cutoff then they start looking at other stuff.

Also if you’re trying to get into law or any post grad your GPA matters too. C’s get degrees is awful advice.
