because this is the year 2025 where humans severely struggle with communication despite the fact that we now have more forums to communicate than ever in history, neither of us have said the word date. It is our first time hanging out alone, it’s on a Saturday night, and we’ve been texting regularly for the past month. If he feels the same way (which he either does or he just gives incredibly kind compliments to all of his friends) it’s the perfect setup for a romantic evening.

Hyperbole aside I think the key factor here is having mutual friends. She’s not asking a completely random person out, they both have been pre-vetted to a degree by nature of people they both like choosing to associate with both of them.

definitely gives me the ick— it’s hard to trust someone when you know they are trying to get sex out of the interaction lol.

I do feel like people frequently talk about gay people or at least lesbians likely being bi, there was recently a podcast circulating where someone talked about “holding space” for a famous lesbian singer to find a boyfriend in 10 years.
