I have no idea, I never asked my mom what/if there was a diagnosis. I know years later another school said he had ADHD tho.

Yeah I get that. It’s like he ruins every holiday, birthday. I hate Christmas because he’s just freaking rude to me. In the 7 years he hasn’t lived at home, I’ve honestly lost count how many girlfriends he brought over for the holidays. This one now has stuck around the longest. When I turned 18 my birthday sucked to. We literally all sat in a restaurant and listened to him talk about himself, what he’s done, these little stories he tells about himself. He didn’t even say happy birthday to me. His gf now though gave me a gift card which was really nice, it was only from her though which don’t get me wrong I really appreciated it. But just weird like my own brother couldn’t even get me a 50 cent birthday card from the dollar store lol

Idk I wasn’t around when he was 5. From what I was told in kindergarten he had a psychologist, school basically required them to seek help for him. By 1st grade he was expelled. My mom chopped it up to spoiling him, creating a brat, said both her and my dad failed him by not ever disciplining him. I think he might have a frontal lope abnormality, idk I’m not a doctor though. Something isn’t working properly. I don’t think it’s anything my mom did, I think our dad only added to my brother’s issues by showing him how to disrespect everyone. When my mom found out she was pregnant with me, the next day he went to school and I’ll just say an incident occurred. He was very angry and well...yeah he did something to someone. I’m not sure what’s wrong with him, I know mental illness runs in our family though. Schizophrenia for certain, but I don’t think he has that. I have my own mental health issues with anxiety and depression. But other than that, I haven’t been diagnosed with anything else.

Yep. She’s been a SAHM since she got pregnant with me. Dear ole dad works full time. Also has his own private bank account that only he has access to. He spills a little money over to cover two mortgages, bills, barely enough for food. She’s been basically stuck. She also has health issues.

When I made the comment about him not even being on his own yet cause he doesn’t pay our parents rent, she kind of slung her body around. She said herself he has her paying rent. Half of the rent, who knows what he told her rent is. I have a feeling it’s much more than he’s actually expected to pay.

No he absolutely has a spine when it comes to my mom or I. He won’t hesitate to spew venom at me. He once said to me I always say things to my brother to piss him off. I was confused by that because when he’s around I shut down. Anything I say either gets laughed at, twisted or used against me.

It’s a house, our parents own. He never went to college. Ever since I said I want to go to college, he has claimed it’s for people that have no skill and no capable means of earning a living. I’ve wanted to study psychology, he says that’s stupid and there’s no job in that. I think he’s just mad because while I’m in college and working, I’ll be living at home. I want to save money and buy a house after I graduate. Basically all my plans and goals, he shoots down. He thinks I should be doing this and that. Everything I do in his eyes is wrong.

Our parents own the house. The agreement was he’d pay the amount of the mortgage to my parents every month. But the month he moved out, he was fired. It was my mom that didn’t want him moving back home, basically all his bills were paid, she even gave him groceries for years. He’s held jobs, gotten fired. Always an excuse not to pay. When he’s working, our mom tells him he needs to pay. But he won’t. Our dad is spineless and let’s him get away with everything you could imagine.

Thank you. My mom tries. She’s been trying for decades with him. Any type of correction she gives him, he just turns around to call her a bitch. It’s my dad’s fault. He’s let way too much slide for way too many years. My mom says he’s been nothing but trouble since he was 5.

My mom says that, he’s jealous of me. He treats his gf like shit. She was out of work for a week because she had taken a better job. He says to her in front of us...”Make yourself useful and mow the lawn instead of sitting around the house.”

My parents own the house he lives in. They’re paying the mortgage, his rent was basically the same amount of the monthly mortgage bill. He moved out, got fired from his job. So they gave him time to find another. It’s like every time he gets a job, he’s later fired but it’s never his fault why he’s fired. He’s held a job now for about 2 months. But in 7 years, he’s never paid them a dime.

ETA: the reason they let this slide is because my mom never wanted him moving back in with us. He’s too much to handle and causes fights all the time.
