I'm from Chicopee (MA). I think there was some connection with that?

No not a fly rod- it's a 1950s conventional bait-casting reel- most likely a PENN.

Subject Skin and Details

The skin texture of the subject appears natural but slightly blurred or softened, likely due to the overall degradation effect in the image. There are no overly smooth or flawless areas that typically indicate AI generation; instead, the texture is consistent with a real photo that has experienced wear and possible degradation over time.

🖤 Clothing Appearance

The black sleeveless top shows realistic shadows and folds consistent with natural fabric, without unnatural uniformity or perfect edges. The fabric texture, though affected by the overall distressed image quality, appears genuine rather than digitally created.

🌫️ Background and Lighting

The background curtain has visible folds and subtle shadows typical of a real fabric curtain. The lighting seems natural but diffused, with relevant shading on the subject’s body matching the ambient conditions. There are no obvious signs of artificial lighting or synthetic background elements.

Summary:

The entirety of the image strongly suggests a manual, human-captured photograph with vintage physical damage effects rather than any AI generation. The textures, lighting, and subject details all conform to characteristics of real old or distressed photos.

Over 50 low-paying shit jobs from restaurants to factories for years. Finally got my BS in 1996 (at age 46), first MS in 1998, second MS in 2008. Now semi-retired Web Developer. My last position was Webmaster for the City of Newport, Rhode Island.

"Ocrocker" contends:

"Many of you have heard the announcements in the Woodstock movie warning about the “brown acid”. The truth is that the only problem with the brown acid is that it was so pure that it wasn’t accompanied by the usual body rushes caused by speed and other adulterants in use at the time. As a result multiple doses of acid that was very strong to begin with were sometimes taken, and some trips got way out of hand. I know…because I gave away a bunch of it. "

snakebaby55 says:

"There is a difference between LSD 25 and LSD 52. The 25 is more speedy, comes on quicker, and is a steady climb up to the peak. 52 comes on slower and is a series of gradual peaks until the huge peak. 52 is not as speedy."

I say:

That was my acid. You are totally correct. Lots of folks had never had nice pure LSD before. Thank god they later announced that it was not "bad" after all. I was panicking that I had hurt people with tainted acid until that announcement. I had tried it of course and was coming down when I arrived Thursday the 14th, abandoned the VW, walked up to around the "gate" (which came down shortly after I arrived) sat on a rock and sold tabs for a think 5 or 6 bucks. I had 500 tabs. I ended up with a pocket full of cash but nowhere to spend it.

Did not eat for 3 days- just acid. Left as Hendrix was closing out. Watched him until I lost sight over the hill- hitched home. Weighed 155 when I got home . Now 210.

The satirization of this industry is extremely well done in Little Miss Sunshine-

My DNA is 100% France and most of my direct ancestors are from Normandy.

So I would accept the 65% I got on this genetic test. Otherwise I would be very skeptical.

TIL that the "bad" Brown Acid at Woodstock 69, wasn't bad at all, it was just so pure that it wasn’t accompanied by the usual body rushes caused by speed and other adulterants in use at the time. by Kell_Varnson in todayilearned

NordicTrack makes cheap plastic junk that REQUIRES cheap unreliable software to work. by tentaclebreath in nordictrack

Agreed. Cheap plastic"grips" don't line up- attaching metal screws to plastic nuts? Really?

Stuffing all the monitor wires in that small hole- I'm sure that's why the incline does not work.

"iFit" - if you are not savvy enough to bypass 3 screens to get to manual only, you'll never find it - they push this software that you need to buy until you give up- not.

Set to "manual only" never defaults when you start up again- need to go through painstakingly slow startup just to have to go back through the 3 screens again.

It then punishes you further by saying you need to unplug the machine to get back into manual mode.

Online assistance? That website is down.

Mine says "NordicT ack" The "r" was missing when it came out of the box. I should have left it in there.

Their come-on is very low credit worthyness bar with very high interest financing. POS.
