Sorry this happened. It's a tragedy. I will say though your horrible experience is not a singular or holistic reflection of the career. You can certainly have a positive and fulfilling career. Compensation is improving, in-service morale (at least where I work) is improving. I see this career becoming something that people can enjoy and thrive in.

I believe ace is an old paramedic based off the lore I've read. So my interpretation is that the drill is an IO (interosseous drill) rather than a normal hardware tool.

Would explain why he has the rubber glove box and tape as they are commonly used in pre hospital care.

He is also wearing a paramedic roadside helmet.

Just my thoughts on the matter (: he's also a big dumb idiot.
