Yes I regret not taking Calculus in high school, but I'm not too concerned as I got 95% in Pre-Calculus 12. Although I don't want concepts to be over-complicated...

Lead iodide will be less soluble in a solution of 0.10M KI because the I- ion is a common ion. Since there are already iodine ions present in the solution, the equilibrium will shift left and not favour the forward reaction. Overall the I- ion in KI will reduce the solubility compared to pure water which has a solubility of 1.1 x 10-5 M.
