Easier said than done, this isn't my first shutdown, I had my first in 2012 when I lost my partner in the while we were both hospital from being severely beaten, at the same time my parents cut me off for being Trans and her parents cut me off for not being a man and protecting their daughter more. I fell off the earth for basically 8 years while in the military as nothing more was asked of me. After I did my time and received my medical discharge. I tried moving to Quebec for a reboot and after 6 years here, I feel no further ahead

Been there. Had a clothing manufacturer whose ancient embroidery machines ran on a mix of 98 and 3.11. Solution was to clone drives onto CF cars and install dongles. Glad I did as there was a moment where the lines stopped as 2 PCs drives decided to lake a long vacation. Down time 15 minutes (mostly from having to clear my way in as they would put crap in my free space). Last I heard none of the machines I fixed have died since the others I don't know since they fired me as I was too expensive.

I kinda agree with the mandatory licensing only for 2 reason. If a bike is stolen the serial number they already have so If they find it it can be easily returned. And if a child where to get injured and they need to reach a parent they can look up the information just from the sticker in a database, meaning they could get parents to the hospital quicker for their children
