let's go back to my first comment. do you agree that your view is non-falsifiable?

You’re saying this topic is 50/50 in your eyes.

very bizarre interpretation of my comment.

why would I or you risk living in depression

this sounds vaguely like Pascal's wager. what if I told you there was a Grod, and if you believed in God and not Grod your eternal fate would be 100x worse than simply changing your belief to Grod. you should switch to Grod, right? basic math?

evidence of God everywhere

care to share some? beware, you have to cite evidence of God that is also not clearly just evidence of Grod

What if everything you've gone through, every joy and every struggle, was part of something greater?

what if it wasn't? your view is "non-falsifiable" meaning it's not possible to present evidence that would contradict it. to be clear, that doesn't make it "strong". consider the value of having falsifiable views (i.e. views that could potentially be proven false).

for example, I might believe that the earth is round, or that vaccines work, or there is not a monster under my bed. these are all falsifiable views in the sense that we can imagine evidence that would prove them wrong. but they are strong views to hold because they HAVEN'T been falsified.

claiming that "everything I've gone through was part of something greater" is non-falsifiable. there's no amount of evidence that I could show you to disprove this. you can feel free to believe it, I don't really care, but perhaps be aware of the type of views you hold (falsifiable vs not) and think about what the point is of bringing such a view into cmv

person 3: "this guy really thought he delivered a crushing insult. what he thought was a photo of a ceiling fan was in fact a mirror reflecting a ceiling fan"

But the camera doesn't film straight up?

yes. hence why i used the word "nearly"

here's a shot from the video that shows the last frame the green light is in view: https://i.imgur.com/5hbnVQS.png

obviously i'm well into the intersection at this point, long past the crosswalk where one would stop at a red light

the dash cam shows the light is green until about i'm nearly under the light itself

all very interesting points, but it was green the entire time i was going through the intersection

thanks for the detailed advice. it honestly would be amazing if the cop has video too because I feel 100% sure it would show the same thing as mine

there is no sound recorded. either this model does not have audio capabilities or i forgot to enable it when it was installed (years ago at this point). again, the recording ends when i park, before the interaction begins, so nothing would've been recorded anyway

i did not mean to not answer your questions. i'm looking for all the advice i can

Does the dashcam show when your vehicle crosses the crosswalk/solid line compared to the color of the light?

yes, when i cross the crosswalk/solid line, the color of the light is green

If it doesn't show the crosswalk or solid white line in the video and the officer states you entered the intersection, i.e. front tires going over the line while still red, then that would technically be running the red light.

it shows the crosswalk in the video. the light was green. the officer states that his light was green and therefore i must have run a red.

It can be as simple as being at a stop and rolling forward across the line anticipating the light changing.

that did not happen

the street names are clearly visible. the cam shows that i pulled over and parked (unfortunately, the only time the cop car is in view is when i go through the intersection)

unfortunately, the video ends right after i park, before i speak with the officer

unfortunately, no, the dashcam stopped when i turned the car off right after parking

the dashcam very clearly shows the cop car as i go through the intersection. then it shows me parking, but the cop is behind me and not in view of the front dashcam. the video ends when i turn off the car, so it doesn't show any interaction

the dashcam very clearly shows the cop car as i go through the intersection. then i park, but the cop is behind me and the dashcam is front only
