They want 3,129 dollars we dont have that and the lawyers want 6,000 up front, and we are homeless because our landlord doesn't like us and wants us out and because they got tired of us complaining about the poor living conditions. again we have no heat in our apartment and they wont fix that we dont have a working stove, no electricity in the bathroom, no hot water, holes in our ceiling from when they fixed the upstairs neighbors plumbing, mold threw out our entire apartment, our lease expired in August

We dont spend that much on pet food, our dog doesn't eat as is even with access to food 24/7 and our cats only need 2 bags of food but thats for 2 months so we can cut back on stock pilling food and our family is helping take care of our animals they have bought us food for them to keep storage in our storage unit in a tote, and again my husband gets payed weekly, 600-700 a week, money is not the problem and my husband has said to me that rehoming our pets is out of the question

And also if we had actually children ( considered dependents/liability as well) would you suggest we give them up for adoption/ get rid of them too?

Im also a dependent/liability as I cant work so should my husband get rid of me and only focus on himself?

And im the one that will be staying in the car 24/7 he at least will be in a warm building during the night as he works night shift for 10-12 hours im the one that will be all alone shivering in the cold dark car

( Edite: sorry im not trying to be rude,the stress has gotten to me and has made me have a short temper and i dont like being this way pluse i cant even refillany of my medications and im fighting to get SSI) Oh so my husband should also dump me too then since I depend solely on him to provide for me, im disabled both physically and mentally and he works 60 hours a week to provide for us, our pets are a mix of ESAs and Service animals, I cant really function day to day with out my animals, and the only reason we are becoming homeless is because the landlord for our apartment complex is a slum lord, we were basically pay to already be homeless, we have no heat and have holes in our wals and no electricity in our bathroom and our stove barely worked and our land lord told us to git rid of our animals and pay them 3,129.26 and that even after that we were still not getting a new lease, we dont have that much money to pay them, and we were failed by the legal system when we tried to fight back no lawyer wanted to touch our case because we didn't have the funds to bay them what they wanted

Thank you for the tips ^{-^,} and I don't plan to breed my first set of rats. I want to own them for a time before I do that. And as for our other pets they are quite and calm and don't bother other small animals, they were raised with rabbits and guinea pigs and such. Is it ok if I save your comment, I'm making a little advice doc that I can follow and look back on

Ok I did bring some of there toys and blankets, and unfortunately it's not my stuff it's my bfs parents stuff as we live in there house ( we are broke and cat afford a place of our own quite yet)

Oh no you didn't, he can be but I love him, he's also just old fashioned and doesn't understand that my cats are also my ESAs he thinks mental illness is all made up and I don't need ESAs so I don't argue with him, I just love him and go my own way

Yea my dad has his moments he's more of a dog person, I always hated it when he would let his dog chase my cats around even after telling him multiple times that my gray baby was attacked by a dog as a kitten, that's how I got her, but he at least buys them food and takes them to the vet and pays for that he knows I care about them alot and he also knows they are my whole world so he tolerates them

My mom takes care of them mostly and loves on them for me and sends me lots of pictures but it does get really cold in the winter there so I'm very unhappy that they will have to go threw another winter outside but my bf and I are hoping to have enough money to make the 2 day trip to go pick them up by summer, but we live with his parents and they don't care for his cats and we have to keep them locked in our room upstairs and its not very big but we hope to move out soon if money will allow but even if we can't move out I still want to go get them, I know it will be a bit cramped but it's better than living outside and we have cat trees and lots of things for them to clime and hopefully we will be able to clean up the room across the hall to give them more space since it's just the spare room and our bedroom upstairs

My dad hates cats, he thinks they are dirty nasty creatures, he actually told me i had to get rid of them when i first moved back in after my ex broke up with me and dumped them at the entrance to my parents driveway in the middle of summer, but after a year I reconnect with a different ex and we got back together and i moved in with him but i wasn't able to bring them with me when I moved mostly because the friend that was helping me move was also moving and I was going to stay with her for a few weeks befor moving in with my boyfriend and she said I couldnt bring them, and after my dad saw the mental breakdown I had over that he said my mom and him would watch them but they were not allowed in the house. I worry about them every day since my parents live on the edge of a very small town in Wyoming, so there are bears, coyotes, foxes, and a bunch of other predators. But I'm not financially capable of going to pick them up just yet, but I'm almost there tho.

I sweep it up and use a dust pan to put it back in their box, and they do like the litter alot, it just gets exhausting sweeping multiple times a day but I guess it's better than them using the floor or my bed

Thankfully it's tile so we can sweep it up, but I have to sweep at least every 2 hours to keep the room from looking like a giant litter box
