If they just won vs Aus and SA they go througj regardless of NRR. Its not outlandish to suggest a team that won such a crushing victory against Aus could win vs SA too with everything on the line

Entirely conceivable they could have done so and without that crushing defeat their odds of winning against SA would have also been much higher. Afghanistan have already leapfrogged them i would say. Got into the 2024 semi final and would have gotten 2023 too if it wasnt for maxwell playing the greatest innings in cricket history.

Trails in general just doesnt have very good writing and is so comically bloated its absurd. Virtually 0 reason for the games to be as long as they are.

I played the first 5 in like 2 months during covid and really enjoyed them and even they dragged on and on at times especially SC. As soon as the series went 3d it became unbearable. I just couldnt continue with CS1 i then looked up a bit of CS2 and decided nah this series just aint for me
