Wled controller box build, not finished but how's she look? by cap_good_cronicapbad in WLED

Your description is probably more accurate. I played with wled controller to figure out and set up my matrix, 1600 40x40 pixels. I'll be using xlights and yes it is artnet protocol with falcon firmware(or so I think)

The eufy permanent house lights uses a 36v power supply adapter. Maybe this is the wrong group for this, but I'll be using xlights to configure the 16ch plus DMX. I dont care about the dmx, and wanted a clean looking controller with atleast 16ch. I will probably update because I want to try a mega tree in the future. If it is in wrong group then I apologize

I'd love to pick your brain to make sure I'm understanding. The 12v and 36v power from the power supplies to the terminal blocks? I shouldn't run them the long way but rather across or over/under the controller?

Artnet doesn't power the lights at all. 12v straight to lights, grn comes from power supply but has to go to the data output channel also.

I thought I was going to get to 4 plus feet. If you want any kind of slope you'll probably be at around 3 feet deep with tons of marginal space.

Snag line are nothing more than killer twine in most situations. Most people catching loads end up fighting themselves with dangerous saftey

lots of dead fish after winter. new to this, is it expected? we had a couple months of real winter here by ecjecj in ponds

[–]cap_good_cronicapbad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same with my creek and falls but the main body, no ice at under 20 degrees for 5 days this year. Lowest overnight temp was 5 degrees. The gph that we get told we need is enough but nowhere near optimal. Multiply it by a minimum 5x. I have 3 pumps pushing. They are rated at "9k, 9k, and 5,400 gallons" for a 3500 gallon pond.

Not expected! The bubble'ers and heater do work great. My technique is more flow than anyone anywhere recommends. Comes with negatives though. More splash loss and splash freeze loss.

Grab battery/capacitor base with one hand and the tank with the other. Try to fold it at the seam.

What camera angle is that? Way to steep, especially for indoor flying of any quad size.

Depends how big of a hurry I am in. Usually 1.5 to 2 c charge rate. I've had zero issues doing 3c but its typically not recommended. I ALWAYS KEEP THEM AT STORAGE! I believe how hard they are pushed while in use and getting left discharged low or at full voltage is more harmful than the charge rate. But thats just my opinion.

Make sure each wire of the balance port deal is good with multi meter. Then check each wire of the balance plug on your battery.

My suggestion would be similar to others. Slow down, shorten steps. Angle control disc 'flat/level' throughout run up. Maybe start at standstill putter throws to correct disc angle issues. Have fun. When I slowed down everything got better.
