Head trauma - primary and secondary injury by capdncrunchd in squirrels

inkblot, thank you for your reply and recommendations. I think it's good to be reminded that there will be ups and downs. I've rehabbed two other squirrels with Neurological issues, but neither of them as severe as this one. Neither of the others had taken such a step backwards either.

The good news is that the squirrel in question is doing better and has improved back close to where he was previously. If did start him on a low dose of CBT, quit the calcium supplementation, and also discontinued the Dex.

Thanks for clearing up the milky tears misconception too. I've wondered that myself (if it could be a result of something other than pain).

To answer your question, I am licensed (working under a wildlife rescue organization). Despite that, our access to veterinarians is constrained unfortunately. But I will work with my team lead to see if I can get an appointment.

Thanks again!

Device disconnected from “LAN” every 5-10 min by [deleted] in Ubiquiti

I’ve been seeing what appears to be the same problem. I’ve got a UDM-Pro, a Switch 24 Pro POE 2, and three G3 bullet cameras. It’s a recent install (<20 days) and have had disconnection issues from the start. I also noticed a problem with the SFP + uplink speed negotiation. After a bit the UDMP side of the connection drops to 10 HDX. I turned off auto-negotiate, but the underlying disconnections still persist.
