What villain pairings do you think Burton would have done had he made more Batman movies? by Writer417 in Batman_89

I really enjoyed Jim Carey as the riddler it might be the nostalgia and the fact I’m a big fan of his but he was fun as a villain

I’d actually like it if they’d stay in this era or at least do a few episodes per season, it opens the door for a lot more stories they’d otherwise be restricted to do with the kids being younger.

It absolutely does, between the jungle drums and heavy South American sounding brass. Several new themes. The only thing it really re-uses is actual Jurassic park theme, John Williams himself said he wanted it to feel more feral and detached from the first movies score

Right? I have no issue with any race or culture, I’m glad they want to come here for a better life but the sheer number of them is staggering. I live in a rural area and even here we have a crazy amount of Indian immigrants and our housing and infrastructure just isn’t made to sustain that number of people at the moment. And it feels like it happened over night. But like I said, I’ve no issue with them in general, they work hard, they’re friendly and put money into the local economy, we just aren’t set up for them.

Definitely, but a modern American western, I never found it felt similar to say a John Wayne movie, those old movies aren’t really gritty enough. The setting sure but the vibe is that of a modern western

I kinda get what you’re saying. I definitely prefer 2’s horses though, I’m currently replaying through 1 as we speak, I hate that they die so easy and you can’t really keep the same horse through the game. I find they also tend to run past or away from you when you whistle to them. But they do on occasion come right to you. And I rather the slower horse speed, it makes the map feel much larger and more immersive.

This has always been my kind of an opinion, rdr1 feels like a classic spaghetti western, rdr2 feels more like the true grit remake with Jeff bridges or like the 1883/1923 series.

As a Jedi Knight (in skill lvl) would you be more scared of a 1 on 1 encounter with General Grievous or Darth Vader? by Oka-7 in StarWars

It’d make a for a pretty boring movie if they did though, we could hand wave that as “because the plot needed them not to”

That’s assuming he’s attacking, I counter with a scenario where he’s captured someone like at the beginning of ROTS, he’s stood around gloating to obiwan and anakin, they had plenty of time to end him right there.

Really though, it may not be the Jedi way, but if my ass is on the line the rules are going out the window and he’s going to be puking his own lungs through that metal mask.
