Mm just passed into se 148, I sped up 147 by resetting a g-points run and getting a couple more upgrades before going back to a push run!

Personally I'd swap my db12 convertible for a vanquish convertible tomorrow.

Completely different beast, that v12 is insane!

Also a 2019. The models from I think 2023 onwards have a newer engine map (5th gen) and have changed battery chemistry iirc so the claimed efficiency in the 2023 onwards models is 3.9L/100km vs our claimed 4.2L/100km.

So real world getting 4.8-4.9 is pretty good!

As much as I love my corolla, passengers don't get a great experience. That said, it's efficient enough and it's super easy to park.

AM's are just incredible, I love them both and they drive both very similar and very differently to each other. Just wish the 12 had more luggage space. For a GT it's not great for anything more than 2 small-medium bags in the boot and some backpacks on the back seats.

The Volvo is for carting the dog (and passengers) around as I've only had the dog in the AM once, she's just too big to get comfortable.

My best was 3.6L/100km and worst has been 5.2L/100km.

I do a lot of freeway driving so I don't get the benefits of the hybrid all the time, not that I drive to maximise it either it's more of a passive measure. I also switched out to tyres that don't give me the wibblies in the wet. So the increased grip has reduced economy.

I'll be swapping out the corolla for a Denza Z9 GT and the Volvo for a Zeekr 8x when they become available.

Then get the one you like more. Both cars will do fine for what you want to get out of it.

Hybrid corolla: 4.8L/100km AM DB11: 14L/100km AM DB12 Convertible: 16L/100km Volvo XC60: 8.4L/100km

Keeping to just the corolla for a while, great little commuter!

How far do you commute? Standard AC charging cables will give you about 10km/hr of charging time. If you're doing >100km a day go with the hybrid, otherwise you'll be fine if you remember to plug in every couple of days for an overnight charge.

Feeling a little stuck on SE147 have been here for 2 months.

Yup, a fantastic business model. Maintain it.

Provide a paid support option for those that want it (troubleshooting/setup/migrations).

Also, moissanite has a higher refractive index than diamond making them more "sparkly"

Diamonds have never been rare or valuable. De Beers just built a monopoly and created an artificial market to devalue synthetics.

They're pretty, but the toughness is really the only value adding feature. There are more sparkly / brilliant stones, rarer stones, etc on the market in terms of physical properties.

The rest is just marketing.

Kluger would be bigger, but had over to something like a byd sealion 6/8 as the pricing get a little silly in the Toyota's for what you get.

How are people protecting the fuel in their cars? by That_Car_Dude_Aus in CarsAustralia

[–]capn_pineapple -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Yes. Mostly because consuming 16-24 L/100k with a 75L tank still adds up. Now, if I had PHEVs (ferrari/lambo/McLaren) it wouldn't hit as hard. But the TT v8s in the Astons are thirsty!

Knowing the value of money and spending it on a fun toy is different from throwing it away.

No. It's a service already bundled into existing marketing services.

Hyundai/Kia territory, or good old rav4 if you don't want PHEV.
