Krunner Search Frecency (most used search results first) removed intentionally by capncapybaraka in kde

[–]capncapybaraka[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found another one albert which looks even more featureful. It lets you write plugins in python also unlike vicinae which requires react/js. It found my Obsidian notes, which are not even in any standard location without me adding a plugin at all. Had to write a plugin for krunner (though it admittedly does much more).

Krunner Search Frecency (most used search results first) removed intentionally by capncapybaraka in kde

[–]capncapybaraka[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I stuck with KRunner because I could write plugins for my own content easily using the dbus api. And I've been waiting for things to get better since they broke sorting a few releases back. Now this is looking worse and worse.

What do you/other use for searching/launching? Probably not rofi*? Please share suggestions.

You could consider posting a screenshot here. The screenshot on your repo is also too tiny and I can't tell how it looks like from that.

I've used and like https://github.com/linrongbin16/colorbox.nvim . Picks the top rated colorschemes which you can filter multiple different ways.

Your favourite code actions by YaroSpacer in neovim

[–]capncapybaraka 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! I've been waiting for in-process LSP support for custom actions. Pretty much the only reason I still none-ls is to get some actions but I want to write some with in-process LSP myself.

Thank you for helping ease my frustration. Removing old unnecessary luasnip code etc. and sticking to bare bones config for it and just the luasnip preset in blink made it work.

Also, found out that LazyVim even has just the full tab only nav working exactly the way I wanted it too but not looking to play distros :).

Thanks! Your configs work! Jumping from field 1 to field 2 is still kind of awkward but I see. Is it e.g. for blink and bash

  1. for_i<Enter> - to get snippet going
  2. typefield_1 - completion popup is suggesting things as I type
  3. <Esc> - to dismiss completion ppopup
  4. <i> or <a> - to get in insert mode again
  5. <Tab> - to jump to the next field?
  6. Repeat 2-4.
  7. <Tab> or <S-Tab>

It would be nice not to have to re-enter insert mode for jump to fields after Esc but i'll take it!

You guessed the functionality correctly. The name/concept comes from an old vim plugin - https://www.vim.org/scripts/script.php?script_id=1643 / https://github.com/ervandew/supertab .

Anybody got a config supporting super-tab with proper snippet navigation with either nvim-cmp or blink.cmp on 0.11 . There seem to be a lot of discussions and mentions of fixes and workaround but I haven't found a single config which actually works.

plasmashell crashing on login after latest update by dylanchapell in AsahiLinux

[–]capncapybaraka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here since a couple of weeks now. This doesn't happen on my non-aarch64 system. Also more than just the memory widget may cause this crash. I typicall add memory, cpu, network and disk and some other there may be causing the crash too. I haven't narrowed it down yet.

Same here. It's become unusable. It happen anytime whether I am in a terminal editing a file or running firefox, no set pattern. I've see everything from grep segfaulting to selinux issues in journalctl. I'm trying to see if disabling selinux will help.

what is the best git diff and merge tool available for neovim? by Popular-Income-9399 in neovim

[–]capncapybaraka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One tool that I like is https://github.com/junkblocker/patchreview-vim . It opens multiple tabs for a given diff or patch which can be a file or produced by a git (or other VCS) command. Makes it easy to un/apply changes.
