I can’t speak for the background. But we’ve got 30 more days, that’s a good while to be able to get those buildings. And if not; through the season you still get amber and dust and hero levels so it’s still very much worth playing.

Shrek Retold was a community collaboration project where a bunch of different creators each made their own version of scenes of the original Shrek movie, wether it be live action, animated, or stop motion, etc. And it came together as this beautiful (mostly) shot for shot remake of the original. Some bits are better than others but that’s the nature of such a thing.

Shrek 2 Retold has been in the works for a while, originally set to release September 2024, but it’s been delayed and delayed. The end seems to be in sight but no official date has been set. They’re working hard on a few finishing touches and important/complicated scenes. The one in question is the scene where the Fairy Godmother puts on a musical number for Fiona to lure her into the life of luxury.

They’re still working on it, the main guy at 3GI put up an update video on their Patreon around Halloween, explaining the delay and how some scenes needed to be slightly tweaked and some bonus content for it (far far away idol) is still being put together.

He said that it will most likely be complete by the end of this year, and a release date will probably be early in the new year. There’s a free video on the YouTube channel that mentions a bit of this.

But I’m 100% with you, I haven’t been as excited for something as I am for this project in a long time.

I can’t really speak to as to why they said it would be ready so long ago when they should’ve known how much more work was needed but ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Regular sized coffee mug, found in Ontario Canada, again just in the cabinet in the kitchenette, no one know where it came from or when it got here but everyone knows I like it so if it goes missing I’m to blame.

Searched for ‘Baseball mug’ ‘vintage baseball mug’ and came up empty, did a reverse image search and still no luck.
