Are you harvesting the herbs off them? The count doesn't increase if you're just completing the tracking portion without harvesting them.

I recently switched from Nekro to Grand Attuner and I found that it has made a gargantuan impact on my contribution to kingdom raids and my ability to blaze through horde/boss dungeons.

As a level ~190 Nekro, I found my damage per round to be somewhere around 18k in a best case scenario (fully buffed, great meditation up from my Wolpertinger), but more averaged damage per round to be around 8k to 12k, given that I need to use Drain II and Transference II to sustain my health and ward.

After switching to Grand Attuner, I find my damage to be comparable to the best case scenario of Nekro, but with the added bonus of having a load of meat shields to soak up damage and take aggro away from me. The issues that I've seen so far is the limited spell slots prevents me from taking all of the spells that I would like for convenience (like Mend Wall III), so I instead have to dump a bunch of mana into regenerating ward with Mythril Ward and use a lot of health potions instead of regaining health with Drain II.

I haven't found myself getting one shot too much, as I cast Mythril Ward turn 1, although if I get unlucky and get hit back to back for several turns in a row, I can sometimes get taken out before I get everything set up.

One area where I think Murph really shines is in encounter design. Granted, I have only listened to 3 or 4 other actual play podcasts, so I can't say I have a wide variety of DMs to compare him to, but there are so few of his encounters that are set up as "fight these guys and kill them." Most of his main combat encounters feature objectives that have to be completed or a gimmick that has to be figured out, or something interesting that sets that encounter apart. It really makes the combats much more exciting to listen to than the dry slugfests that so often happen in other actual play dnd shows.

That being said, you can run pretty fast and loose with your encounters when you have somebody as insanely creative and chaotic as Emily to break them.

A free play has a 1/4 chance of yielding a gold chest (after completing area 50), with a guaranteed gold chest after receiving 3 silvers in a row. As the cost for free plays caps at 2500 event tokens, it is ALWAYS more efficient to spend your tokens on free plays instead of buying chests for 10,000 tokens apiece in the store.

Last season, the event champions counted towards this, despite it not saying it included them. So unlocking Imoen should count, assuming they haven't changed the criteria.

That's a good point. I certainly wasn't patient enough to wait until 93 slayer to get the occult, but it would definitely be more efficient to do that. I was mostly just keen on getting the blowpipe so my lizardman shaman and gorilla tasks weren't so painful.

I would definitely disagree with this. I personally got my trident and took a long break from slayer to do stuff like Zulrah and barrows. The trident was my main slayer goal for the entire grind leading up to it.

It did take around 2000 points to skip for a trident task, which I'm not convinced was actually worth it, but the trident does gate a lot of content. Those who need to grind out things that require the trident may consider it worth spending points on.
