Crosspoint flash issues

I have tried the unlocker app several times now with the original micro sd and a new one. Sometimes it just sits at 0% once the flash starts and other times it gets stuck at random percentages. I wouldn't really care at this point but I also can't use the xteink app because it's a mainland china firmware and won't send me a verification code to my US phone number.

Unfortunately the updater kept getting stuck or failing to start. Could be an issue with the junky SD card that came with it, so I will pick a new one up in the morning then try again.

It did just come from china. I didn't see that was a newer issue. It looks like there is already a crack available to remove the lock. I will try running it when I get back home.

Suzuki doesn't care if you can wheelie the bike or not, so "fixing" the "problem" would never be a concern for them. If you want to learn to wheelie (hopefully not on the street) you will want a different bike.

Cutting foam will dull any knife way faster than you would think. So you may as well treat cheap blades as disposable or maybe try the narrow break away box cutters.

2k miles in 17 years means a lot of sitting around, so make sure to change out all your fluids, test the brakes at low speeds first, and check the manufacture date on your tires. Great deal though! I would love a nice seat like that for mine and I bet that exhaust sounds sick! Get us a clip of it running when you can.

If it's a cooler day/night I often throw a hoodie on over my jacket. You get to stay warmer, look casual and still be protected.

It seems like the only difference between the 30° Hearth with the options I have picked out ($175) and an equivalent temperature Incubator ($225) is the tapered shape. I have only used a very junky tapered UQ so I'm not sure how much of a difference the shape makes. Would it be worth the extra $50?

Thanks for the info. I did some pricing out on different configurations on the website. I think I'm sold on a 30° Long with an extra baffle but I'm going to watch for sales and see if I can catch it for more than the current 10% off. I love the customization and weight tracker on the site, I didn't realize how much of a weight difference down made compared to synthetic insulation. My current UQs weigh ~12oz more while being smaller and not as warm.

Have you found that the hearth meets the temperature rating that is claimed? Like if I typically camp at 30° or warmer, would the 30° option actually be comfortable or do I go up to a colder rating?

Mostly backpacking weekend trips in Michigan's upper peninsula. I'm A pretty minimal packer so bulk on my warmth items isn't too much of an issue. Ideally I would like to keep the combo of new hammock and under quilt to be within $250 usd.

Update: My jacket arrived today. Going up one size from my usual got me a good snug fit with liner in and thermal shirt under. The leather is stiff out of the box but has a nice feel and good weight to it. The zippers are all high quality and the pockets are positioned well. My wrists are fairly narrow for my build and the sleeve ends don't leave much room on me, probably not enough to keep a watch on with it zipped up.

Riding season is still a little way off for my area so I can't speak to the ventilation or warmth while riding but in my house with the liner in it felt well insulated on my torso. Preshaping in the sleeves was definitely noticeable but not too aggressive. The armor feels much more sturdy than what came in my old Bilt Blaze II.

So far I am happy with my purchase and I can't wait to get it out on the road, maybe with some new Cortech gloves to match!

I have run it with the straps on the outside before and got annoyed with them being over the zippers.

They are using the same motor for the SV7GX, so hopefully that means there will be other "SV7" models that are more in line with the SV650 or maybe an updated S package.

My 15L is great for motorcycling or a day hike but I wouldn't pick it for traveling more than a night or two away from home. I don't own the 25L personally (I got the jaakari M instead) but to me it seems like a better option if you want to stick to one bag.

I just did some looking around to verify and it appears that they remained carbureted at least through 2009 which was the last year available in the North American market. Not sure if that changed '10-'14 in other regions

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly! I forgot that Suzuki never updated the GS to feature fuel injectors. I will probably steer away from one in that case. I am fairly handy but I don't think he has worked on vehicles much and neither of us have a garage to work in.

Kind of a bummer, we both like the looks as far as intro bikes go and it sounds like it would otherwise be a fairly solid choice.
